CEASE FIRE/ALTO AL FUEGO, Politec and Novacolor acrylic mural on cement wall, 9’ x 13', Mission Street at 21st, San Francisco. Juana Alicia ©1988, renovated in 2002. The U.S. invasion of Honduras in 1987, angered me and inspired the mural "Cease Fire/Alto al Fuego" at the corner of Mission and 21st Streets. In 2002, I repainted most of the piece, this time a little darker, in more chiaroscuro tones, given the ongoing nature of its theme.
